In terms of material types, metal materials are commonly applicable. Like various types of plates, including ordinary carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, etc., the NC automatic feeding machine can accurately deliver the plates to the processing position with its high-precision positioning and stable conveying, meeting the processing requirements such as stamping and cutting. Bar materials are no exception, whether they are solid metal bars or hollow pipes, as long as the material is within its acceptable range, smooth feeding can be achieved. They are widely used in mechanical parts manufacturing and pipe processing industries.

Plastic materials can also be conveyed through NC automatic feeders. For example, in the injection molding process, the feeding machine can precisely control the supply of plastic particles according to a preset program to ensure stable quality of injection molded products. In addition, some plastic sheets and pipes can also be fed using this equipment for secondary processing of plastic products, such as cutting plastic sheets and welding plastic pipes.

For wood, especially wooden boards with relatively uniform specifications, NC automatic feeding machines can operate effectively. In the furniture manufacturing industry, wooden boards can be accurately sent to woodworking machinery for cutting, punching, and other processing to improve production efficiency.

In terms of material shape, materials with regular shapes are easier to handle by NC automatic feeders. For example, for rectangular boards, the clamping device of the feeding machine can stably grasp the edges of the board and accurately transport it according to the preset path. Cylindrical rods and tubes can also be conveyed in a rolling or linear manner through specially designed feeding mechanisms, utilizing their circular cross-sectional characteristics. However, for materials with overly complex shapes, uneven surfaces, or a large number of irregular protrusions and depressions, the difficulty of clamping and conveying by the feeder will significantly increase. This type of material may experience jamming and deviation during the feeding process, affecting feeding accuracy and efficiency, and even leading to equipment failure.

In terms of material size, different models of NC automatic feeders have their own applicable ranges. Small feeders are usually suitable for smaller materials, such as in the production of small electronic components, which may handle feeding of micro components ranging from a few millimeters to tens of millimeters. Large feeders can handle larger sized materials, such as large metal sheet processing enterprises, which can handle large sheets with lengths of several meters and widths exceeding one meter. But if the material size exceeds the design specifications of the feeder, whether it is too large or too small, it cannot be fed normally. The material is too large, and the clamping and conveying mechanisms of the feeding machine cannot bear it; If the material is too small, problems such as loss and unstable adsorption may occur during the feeding process.
